Who Has The Call Of God

Who Has The Call Of God

2 Thessalonians 2:13-17
 13 But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
 14 To which He called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
 15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
 16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
 17 Comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good word and work.

Matthew 11:28-30
 28 “Come unto Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
 29 “Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
 30 “For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

2 Timothy 1:9-10
9 Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,
 10 But has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,

Hebrews 1:1
  God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets,

Ezekiel 18:32
 32 For I have no pleasure in the death of  him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

Acts 17:30
 30 “Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands  all men everywhere to repent:

Matthew 28:18-20
 18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying,” All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
 19 “Go therefore  and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father  and of the Son  and of the Holy Spirit,
 20 “Teaching them to observe all things that  I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age”. Amen.

1 Peter 2:9
 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a  holy nation, His own special  people, that you may proclaim the should praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

John 3:5
 Jesus answered,” Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water  and  the Spirit, he cannot enter  the kingdom of God.

1 Timothy 4:11-13
11 These things command and teach.
 12 Let no one despise your youth, but be an  example of the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
 13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

2 Timothy 3:16&4:1-4
 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
4:1-4
 1 I charge you therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom;
 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season, Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all long-suffering and doctrine.
 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they will heap up for themselves teachers;
 4 And they will turn away their ears from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

Romans 10:14-17
 14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?
 15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written,” How beautiful are the feet of those who  preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!”
 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says,” Lord, who has believed our report?
 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Galatians 1:8,10
 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than that  we have preached to you, let him be accursed.
10 For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if  I still pleased men, I should not be a bond servant of Christ.

Psalms 90:3
Thou turnest man back to the dust, and sayest,” Turn back, O children of men!”

James 1:21
21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness,  and receive with meekness the implanted  word, which is able to save your souls.
